Hello my name is Zayed Ali AlBadi AlDhaheri. I was born in the United Arab Emirates and grew up in the city of Abu Dhabi. I am currently a student at the sSheikh Zayed Private Academy for boys pursuing my high school diploma, As well as a scholar of the Abu Dhabi investment authority.
I am a transformative visionary who is a firm believer that innovation is born out of an immersive experience in a community of diverse creative thinkers. I have always been ecstatic about being part of building an inclusive future that exploits the endless possibilities arising out of innovation to transform lives and the society.
Personal Endeavors
Two Week Summer Program at Oxford University
One of the most profound educational experiences has been the opportunity to attend a two-week summer program at the University of Oxford in the UK. This allowed me to get an experiential understanding of what constituted a college education and how the environment supports both personal and career growth. During this time, I met and interacted with students from all over the world and this opened me up to a diverse school of thoughts, various lenses through which we can analyze global issues and how to respect and strive to understand divergent opinions and viewpoints. I also had the privilege of attending multiple daily lectures on economics, philosophy, and politics and this not only allowed me to understand my optimal learning approaches but also taught me how to effectively plan a consistent learning schedule.
Red crescent committee treasurer
As part of my commitment to being a part of the transformative experience in the society and treasurer of the red crescent committee, I volunteered with the red crescent at my school and was delighted to participate in the ‘Warm Winter Campaign’ where we mobilized the school to collect donations of winter clothing and blankets to distribute amongst the homeless and less fortunate during the cold season. We also managed to raise 135,000 dirhams for the humanitarian foundation. Mobilizing people to help one another gives me such optimism about the future of humanity, and that motivates me to strive for a career that can bring transformation.
Military Program
Ever since I graduated from middle school, I was given the chance to participate in military lessons offered by the school,but instructed by certified militants. Once a week for the past 6 academic years, I have been taught the values of being a disciplined soldier and overall a better human. During those classes we took on heavy endurance tests to increase our fitness and we also took military drills such as marching.
Additionally, our school offered a course took officiated by the Abu Dhabi Police where I got an understanding of how some laws work and how they could be applied and also got a walkthrough of how the artificial intelligence and security sector functions.

Personal Achievements
Interned at MBME
I have joined MBME as a work placement student and this has not only increased my knowledge in business operations and developing a work ethic, but it has also allowed me to learn. I now understand how data entry in accounts gets utilized and I have mastered the use of a financial formula that is used to calculate the annual income of the kiosk services. Moreover, I have learnt how to use excel for financial analysis functions and formal business writing. These skills have allowed me the confidence to take up professional duties in a business environment.
Interned at WYAKM
Over the course of summer 2020 I participated as a student in an organization named (WYAKM), where I took on coding and programming, creative writing course and debates and public speaking classes. After the program ended i was given the opportunity to intern at their respected company where i assisted the instructor of the creative writing course.
